Business Administration - Financial Services Major

Step into finance with confidence, knowledge, and industry connections.

This program prepares you for a career as a financial professional by teaching financial planning, industry principles and standards, financial products and services, tax and legal considerations, risk management, and customer service skills. Graduates often find roles in financial institutions as customer service representatives, banking and investment professionals, finance and insurance clerks, insurance and real estate clerks, or supervisors in sales and services.

Time Commitment

This is a two-year (four-term) diploma. A standard course load is five courses per Fall or Winter term, though full-time status can be maintained with a minimum of three courses per Fall or Winter term. For students enrolled in the condensed Spring 2026 (May to June) or Summer 2026 (July to August) terms, it is recommended that you do not exceed two courses per term.

Taking fewer courses will extend your completion time.
