Crime Narrative

This second-year course explores crime in various storytelling forms, such as literature, film, and television. Analyzing detective fiction, true crime, film noir, and more, learners consider how stories about crime reflect and challenge societal views on law, morality, and justice. Learners examine elements of crime narrative, such as plot, character, and theme, while enriching their understanding of the historical contexts and ethical dimensions of crime narratives. Learners critique and research crime narratives, developing evidence-based arguments in written assignments and class discussions.
